Welcome to Stuart

We are glad to welcome Stuart Smith to the OPAL team. He will fill the role of Operations Manager based at our UK offices and warehouse in Darvel. Stuart has experience in supporting cross-cultural mission having worked previously for our close partners Echoes International. Before that he worked in a Christian bookshop, so has expertise in the supply of Bibles and books which are central to OPAL's mission.

Stuart lives in Irvine along with his wife Nicola and two daughters, Hannah and Esther, and attends Townhead Christian Fellowship in Stevenston. He shared with us his excitement at joining OPAL -

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and seeing the Lord use this ministry to bless many people in the Majority World with God’s Word.”
