OPAL website for the Arabic World

Over 350 million Arabic speakers live in the Middle East and North Africa. Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, and is the official language of more than 20 countries. Although there is Christian literature in Arabic, it is hard for many in the region to access it. OPAL has been approached by a number of our partners in the Middle East to create a website in Arabic. This will make available teaching and training materials to often-isolated Christians, and provide resources for those asking questions about Jesus and the Bible.

This is an exciting and strategically important opportunity to help hundreds of thousands of Arabic speakers. There is significant expense in creating a website and translating materials into Arabic, but we are grateful that we now have most of the funding needed to make this possible.  Please pray for this significant opportunity to bless such a large number of people with the Bible-based resources they need.
